Mr. Speaker, On October 17th Russian President Vladimir Putin placed one of his fiercest critics, Bill Browder, on Interpol`s most wanted list for the 5th time. It was removed two hours ago for the 5th time. Mr. Browder led the campaign seeking justice for the murder of Russian tax lawyer Sergei Magnitsky. The notice was submitted to INTERPOL one day before Canada`s Magnitsky legislation, Bill S-226, became law. Does the Minister of Public Safety believe that this is an appropriate use of INTERPOL resources?
